How to Use the Rental Allowance Calculator
To use the Rent Allowance Calculator you will need to enter certain personal details. These details include:
- Your categorisation - Member (with no resident family), a Accompanied Resident Family or a Unaccompanied Resident Family
- Your rank
- Your posting location
- The estimated fortnightly rental amount
Note for a Accompanied Resident Family:
You will need to include your bedroom entitlement, if you are unsure how this is determined, refer to the ADF Pay and Conditions site.
Note for a Member (with no resident family) or a Unaccompanied Resident Family:
You will need to supply the number of occupants you share your rental accommodation with that are over the age 18.
