Internet browsers are regularly updated to include new security features and bug fixes, therefore it is important that you keep up to date with the latest version to ensure that you remain as safe as possible while using the Internet.

Internet Explorer

  1. Ensure that you have the latest version of Internet Explorer
  2. From the top menu in Internet Explorer select Tools, followed by Internet Options
  3. Select the tab labelled Privacy
  4. Click the button labelled Default
  5. Click the button labelled Advanced
  6. Ensure that the checkbox labelled Override automatic cookie handling is in the unchecked state (i.e. there is no tick inside the box)
  7. Click the button labelled OK
  8. Select the tab labelled Security
  9. Inside the box click the icon labelled Internet
  10. Click the button labelled Default level
  11. Click the button labelled OK to save your settings
  12. Attempt to login again

Firefox

  1. Ensure that you have the latest version of Firefox
  2. From the top menu select Tools, followed by Options
  3. Select the tab labelled Privacy
  4. In the drop down list labelled Firefox will select Remember history
  5. Select the tab labelled Content
  6. Ensure that the checkbox labelled Enable JavaScript is in the checked state (i.e. a tick does appear inside the box)
  7. Click the OK button to save your settings
  8. Attempt to login again
